Breeding brings  innovation
Sejet Plant Breeding is owned by  DLG,  the biggest  Coop in Denmark. Through the  ownership varieties from Sejet Plant Breeding are widely grown in Denmark. For years Sejet Plant Breeding has  established and strengthened a network with foreign plant breeders and/or companies. This network   enhance  the exchange of varieties/genetic resources and knowledge between the parties involved.

In 1947 Sejet Plant Breeding was founded on a small farm (25 ha), but today Sejet Plant Breeding is a modern plant  breeding station placed in the Eastern part of Jutland on approx. 400 ha of fertile land.

Improved varieties  with  higher yield performance, better disease resistance, better quality etc have always been highly prioritized breeding goals.
